Specification and build.
The Williams is a freestanding outdoor fireplace with a tall arched opening and a deep firebox, built to sit against a wall or stand alone at the end of a patio. The steel shell carries an integrated vent that draws warm air and smoke up and out of the chamber rather than back into the seating area.
All three sizes stand 72 inches wide at the face and 20 inches deep; only the burning area and burner grow with the model. A key valve shuts the fire down at the end of the night, and the electronic ignition options are sealed against rain.
This is the Corten version. The steel arrives raw and weathers into a deep russet patina that then protects the metal underneath, so the fireplace settles into a garden setting rather than standing apart from it. The shell can also be clad in stone, brick, tile or any other non-combustible material.

Do I need a permit?
Often, and the threshold varies by county. Structures over roughly 200 square feet, or anything with plumbing or permanent power, generally require review. We supply engineering drawings and load calculations for your submission.
What does the base need?
A level, compacted pad with anchor points. Concrete, timber deck and screw piles are all used. The anchor pattern is in the drawings and depends on the model and your local wind load.
