What this is

Specification and build.

The Hexa is a faceted glamping dome built from hexagonal tempered glass panels set into an aluminium alloy frame. Where a PVC dome gives you shelter, this one gives you a view in every direction, including up.

Frame

Aluminium alloy, supplied in original grey as standard. White, black, gold and brown finishes are available on request.

Glazing

Hexagonal tempered glass panels in clear or anthracite blue. Single pane and double pane insulated glass are both offered. Nano film adds a coating that cuts solar heat gain and glare while keeping the glass clear, which is what makes the larger builds workable in full sun.

Good to know

Lead time is typically 3 to 4 weeks from order. Site preparation and a level foundation are the buyer's responsibility. Contact us before ordering if you need help sizing the pad or planning access for delivery.

Do I need a permit?

Often, and the threshold varies by county. Structures over roughly 200 square feet, or anything with plumbing or permanent power, generally require review. We supply engineering drawings and load calculations for your submission.

What does the base need?

A level, compacted pad with anchor points. Concrete, timber deck and screw piles are all used. The anchor pattern is in the drawings and depends on the model and your local wind load.
