Freight

Ships with drawings and a numbered assembly sequence. Most operators use a local crew. Call us and we will help you scope that work first.

Warranty

What this is

Specification and build.

Two floors inside one dome, connected by a staircase. The lower floor is wrapped in laminated panoramic glass and the upper floor carries a large bay window under a PVC shell, so the ground level reads as a living room and the upper level as a bedroom with a view, or the reverse, depending on how the site sits.

The steel truss frame is what makes the second storey possible; this is a structurally different product from the single-skin domes, not a larger version of one. Insulation is specified separately for each level: ceiling liner and cotton below, thermo liner above.

Do I need a permit?

Often, and the threshold varies by county. Structures over roughly 200 square feet, or anything with plumbing or permanent power, generally require review. We supply engineering drawings and load calculations for your submission.

What does the base need?

A level, compacted pad with anchor points. Concrete, timber deck and screw piles are all used. The anchor pattern is in the drawings and depends on the model and your local wind load.
