What this is

Specification and build.

An elongated dome with 431 square feet of floor and a glass door at each end, both opening onto their own deck. Two doors is the practical difference from the rest of the range: you get genuine cross ventilation end to end, and a second entrance that lets you separate a service side from a guest side.

The floor plate is long enough to carry a bedroom, a kitchenette, a seating area and a laundry zone in sequence rather than stacked on top of each other. Round glass windows run down both sides.

Do I need a permit?

Often, and the threshold varies by county. Structures over roughly 200 square feet, or anything with plumbing or permanent power, generally require review. We supply engineering drawings and load calculations for your submission.

What does the base need?

A level, compacted pad with anchor points. Concrete, timber deck and screw piles are all used. The anchor pattern is in the drawings and depends on the model and your local wind load.
