What this is

Specification and build.

The Avant-Garde is a finished living pod rather than a shell. It arrives with power, climate control, lighting, a bathroom and storage already built in, which is why operators use it where running utilities to a traditional cabin would cost more than the cabin.

Founder steel frame under a two layer hard PE shell rated UV28 or better. The exterior can be specified in a color changing finish.

Lead time is typically 3 to 4 weeks from order once the specification is confirmed. Delivery access and a prepared level base are the buyer's responsibility.

Do I need a permit?

Often, and the threshold varies by county. Structures over roughly 200 square feet, or anything with plumbing or permanent power, generally require review. We supply engineering drawings and load calculations for your submission.

What does the base need?

A level, compacted pad with anchor points. Concrete, timber deck and screw piles are all used. The anchor pattern is in the drawings and depends on the model and your local wind load.
